Santos most recently served as Chief Executive Officer of Midway, the financial services business of the Guararapes group. Inter said he helped transform Midway into a profitable, high-growth platform.
His prior experience also includes roles at PicPay, Cielo, Itaú Unibanco, Santander, and BTG Pactual.
At Inter, Santos will coordinate business priorities in Brazil, strengthen customer relationships, and advance monetization initiatives across the company’s products and services.
Riccio joined Inter in 2013 and most recently served as CEO in Brazil. In his expanded group-wide position, he will oversee credit, collections, and operations across the markets where Inter operates, with an emphasis on operational efficiency and execution.
His appointment as Executive Vice Chairman also places him alongside Chairman Rubens Menin and CEO João Vitor Menin on the company’s Board of Directors.
Subject to required approvals and implementation of the proposed management changes, Inter said its Senior Vice President positions will become the highest-ranking executive management roles within Banco Inter S.A.
Inter & Co. is publicly traded on Nasdaq under the ticker INTR and on Brazil’s B3 under the ticker INBR32. The company said the leadership changes reinforce its focus on developing the talent and capabilities required to execute its strategy as the business continues to grow.
