Invesco has named Marty Franc as Senior Managing Director and Head of Asia Pacific, succeeding longtime regional leader Andrew Lo, who will retire March 31, 2027 after 32 years with the asset manager.
Franc will transition into the position during the first quarter of 2027 and will remain based in Hong Kong.
Following his retirement, Lo will become Chairman Emeritus, Asia Pacific, continuing to represent Invesco on the boards of its China and India joint ventures and providing strategic counsel to the company’s Asia Pacific and global leadership teams.
During more than three decades at Invesco, Lo helped develop the firm’s Asia Pacific platform and played a significant role in building its partnerships and capabilities across the region, including its joint ventures in China and India.
Franc brings more than 30 years of asset management experience, including 13 years with Invesco.
His previous responsibilities at the company have included oversight of businesses across Australia, Greater China and Southeast Asia, as well as Invesco’s institutional client strategy.
Lo and Franc will work together during the coming months to transition client, employee, partner and stakeholder relationships.
Invesco managed approximately $2.5 trillion in assets as of June 30, 2026, and serves clients in more than 120 countries across public, private, active and passive investment strategies.
