Invest Qatar announced the launch of the Venture Capital Funding Module on the Invest Qatar Gateway. The module was developed in collaboration with Qatar Investment Authority and is designed to improve startup access to capital and investment opportunities.
Invest Qatar said the new feature consolidates the venture capital discovery and application process into a single platform.
Through the module, startups can explore the investment focus areas and eligibility criteria of participating venture capital funds. Many of the participating funds are backed by QIA through its $3 billion Fund of Funds program.
Startups can also access value-added services and support programs and submit pitches directly to fund managers.
Invest Qatar said the platform is designed to improve efficiency, transparency, and accessibility across the fundraising process while directly connecting founders with a curated network of venture capital funds.
The initial phase includes participating funds and ecosystem partners such as Tech Venture Fund by Qatar Science & Technology Park, A-Typical Ventures, B Capital, Builders VC MENA, Deerfield, The Utopia Studio, Founders Circle Capital, Greycroft, Human Capital, Ion Pacific, Liberty City Ventures, Rasmal Ventures, Shorooq, Speedinvest, and The Radical Fund.
The launch reflects Qatar’s broader effort to strengthen its entrepreneurship ecosystem and position the country as a leading destination for innovation and startups.
Invest Qatar said startups can use the module to review participating QIA-backed funds, assess investment criteria, and formally submit pitches to fund managers.
