Arsenal Capital Partners portfolio company Invio Automation has acquired Calvary Robotics in a deal expanding Invio’s engineering depth and manufacturing capacity across a set of fast-growing end markets. Terms were not disclosed.

The combination brings together Invio’s focus on complex material handling and high-precision manufacturing automation with Calvary’s long-standing capabilities in robotics, advanced automation, and material handling systems. Calvary is headquartered in Webster, New York, and also operates in South Carolina and Malaysia, adding both geographic reach and additional operational footprint to the combined platform.

Both companies framed the transaction as a way to deliver more end-to-end automation programs, spanning early design work and simulation through equipment build, deployment, and ongoing lifecycle support. The businesses highlighted customers’ increasing demand for concept-to-commissioning execution in high-precision applications, where reliability, throughput, and disciplined delivery are central to performance.

Achilli Sfizzo described the acquisition as a growth accelerator intended to expand capabilities, talent, and global reach, positioning the platform to pursue automation opportunities tied to high-value material movement and precision assembly. Robert Lague emphasized the combined engineering bench and the potential to help customers improve productivity, efficiency, and manufacturing flexibility, while citing shared cultural alignment around operational excellence and customer focus.
