IonQ Raises 2026 Revenue Guidance To $450 Million To $460 Million Following SkyWater Acquisition

IonQ has increased its full-year 2026 revenue outlook to between $450 million and $460 million following its acquisition of SkyWater Technology and the companies’ integration into a combined quantum computing and manufacturing platform.

The new forecast includes SkyWater’s financial contribution from July 31, 2026, when IonQ completed the acquisition, through December 31, 2026.

IonQ’s guidance also eliminates estimated intercompany revenue generated under the commercial relationship that existed between IonQ and SkyWater before the acquisition.

The updated outlook represents IonQ’s first combined financial guidance since bringing SkyWater into the organization.

IonQ said the acquisition adds manufacturing capabilities that can support its roadmap toward commercial-scale, fault-tolerant quantum computing while combining SkyWater’s semiconductor manufacturing infrastructure with IonQ’s quantum technology.

The company provides integrated quantum technologies across computing, networking, sensing and security, with its IonQ Tempo system representing its newest generation of quantum computers.

IonQ said earlier generations of its technology have helped customers and partners including Amazon Web Services, AstraZeneca and NVIDIA achieve a 20x performance increase over previous quantum solutions.

The company also reported achieving 99.99% two-qubit gate fidelity in 2025, which it described as a world record in quantum computing performance.

IonQ has operations across North America, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific, and its quantum computing services have been accessible through major cloud providers since 2021.

The company announced the revised guidance in conjunction with its first joint Investor Day following the SkyWater transaction.
