ISPN, a managed services provider focused on broadband operators, has acquired ZCorum, a provider of diagnostics and managed services for broadband networks, expanding its capabilities across cable and fiber infrastructure.
The transaction positions the combined organization as a larger managed IT services platform serving broadband providers, particularly those operating in rural and underserved communities. ZCorum, headquartered in Alpharetta, Georgia, provides broadband diagnostics tools and managed services designed to help internet service providers improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance subscriber experience.
With the acquisition, ISPN broadens its offerings across network monitoring, subscriber support, provisioning, and other managed services. The integration also brings complementary solutions, including managed cybersecurity, hosted VoIP, and IPTV services. The companies said the combination strengthens their ability to support broadband providers as they scale networks and deliver reliable connectivity.
The acquisition follows ISPN’s December 2024 partnership with Align Capital Partners and marks the second add-on transaction completed under that partnership. ISPN said it plans to continue pursuing acquisitions, with a near-term focus on expanding service capabilities supporting broadband fiber infrastructure and outsourcing needs across the broadband ecosystem.
Founded in 1994, ISPN works with community-focused broadband providers to deliver customer support, network operations, and marketing services designed to help operators grow and compete. The company provides 24×7 technical support and industry-specific solutions to improve subscriber experience and operational performance.
ZCorum has been a long-standing partner to broadband providers, particularly in rural markets. Following the recent passing of longtime ZCorum CEO Julie Compann, CFO Luis Herrera supported the leadership transition and helped guide the company through the transaction process.
Together, the companies aim to deliver a broader suite of services to broadband providers while supporting network expansion and improved connectivity in underserved areas.
