ITT To Acquire Aerospace Contacts For $31 Million

By Amit Chowdhry ● Jun 17, 2026

ITT announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Aerospace Contacts, a privately held manufacturer of highly engineered contact systems and interconnect components, for $31 million.

The acquisition is expected to expand ITT’s capabilities in specialized interconnect technologies for the aerospace and defense market. Aerospace Contacts manufactures high-reliability precision contacts that are used in connectors for mission-critical applications where performance, durability, and consistency are essential.

Aerospace Contacts has also been a long-standing supplier to ITT Cannon, which is part of ITT’s Connect & Control Technologies business. This existing relationship gives ITT a strong understanding of Aerospace Contacts’ products, technical capabilities, and role within the broader supply chain.

ITT said the acquisition is expected to strengthen supply chain resilience by bringing important manufacturing capabilities closer to its own operations. For aerospace and defense customers, reliable access to critical interconnect components is increasingly important as programs require advanced connectivity, ruggedized systems, and dependable performance in demanding operating environments.

The deal is also expected to support ITT’s growth in the aerospace and defense market. Aerospace Contacts’ precision components are designed for high-performance connector systems, which are used across applications where failure is not an option. By adding these capabilities, ITT will be better positioned to serve customers that require specialized contact systems and engineered interconnect solutions.

Founded in 1999, Aerospace Contacts is based in Gilbert, Arizona. The company employs approximately 140 technical professionals at its manufacturing facility, where it produces precision contact systems for customers in the aerospace and defense sector.

The acquisition aligns with ITT’s broader strategy of strengthening its portfolio through targeted acquisitions that add technical expertise, expand manufacturing capabilities, and support growth in attractive end markets. Aerospace Contacts’ product focus and supplier relationship with ITT Cannon make it a strategic fit for ITT’s Connect & Control Technologies segment.

The deal is expected to close during the third quarter of 2026, subject to customary closing conditions. Once completed, Aerospace Contacts is expected to enhance ITT’s ability to deliver highly engineered interconnect components while improving control over key parts of its supply chain.
