J.P. Morgan announced that Nelle Miller and William Sinclair have been appointed Co-CEOs of the U.S. Private Bank, effective immediately. Miller and Sinclair will lead J.P. Morgan’s $2.4 trillion U.S. private banking business, which includes more than 5,500 professionals across 57 offices serving individuals, families, entrepreneurs, executives, family offices, and institutions throughout the country.
The U.S. Private Bank is the largest market within J.P. Morgan’s Global Private Bank, which oversees more than $3.8 trillion in client assets worldwide.
The appointments follow the July 2025 appointment of David Frame as Global CEO of J.P. Morgan Private Bank and reflect the increasingly global nature of the firm’s wealthiest clients and their investments.
Miller currently serves as Head of New York, the Private Bank’s largest U.S. market. She joined J.P. Morgan in 2002 and has held several leadership positions across the firm.
She was a founding member of the Global Investment Opportunities team and has led national specialist groups serving complex families and institutions, including the Outsourced CIO and Morgan Private Advisory organizations.
Sinclair joined J.P. Morgan in 2007 and has built one of the firm’s largest client practices, leading more than 500 professionals.
He currently serves as Head of the Financial Leaders Group and Global Co-Head of the Family Office Practice, advising some of the firm’s largest and most complex clients across public and private investments, fixed-income strategies, credit and liquidity solutions, estate planning, and philanthropy.
In their new roles, Miller and Sinclair will oversee J.P. Morgan’s efforts to expand its U.S. private banking franchise while connecting clients with the broader capabilities of the firm’s global platform.
