J.S. Held acquired and integrated Forensic Accountants & Consultants, expanding its forensic accounting and litigation consulting capabilities in Florida.
FAC was founded in 2013 and provides forensic accounting, financial investigations, asset tracing, litigation consulting, and expert witness services.
The firm’s work includes marital disputes, commercial disputes, fraud investigations, economic damages, contract and estate disputes, lost profits, and business interruption claims.
FAC advises attorneys, fiduciaries, corporations, insurers, and private clients.
Founder and President Monica Caswell has testified more than 200 times in state courts and arbitration proceedings, including matters involving AAA, FINRA, and the ICC International Court of Arbitration.
She has also worked on engagements involving the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
The acquisition expands J.S. Held’s capabilities in economic damages and valuation while adding expertise in complex financial disputes.
FAC’s team will also gain access to J.S. Held specialists working across intellectual property, digital assets, fine art and collectibles, forensic technology, and other disciplines.
J.S. Held said the broader platform can support cases involving complex asset portfolios, technology-enabled tracing, specialized valuations, and multi-jurisdictional matters.
