Jacobi Strategies has launched the Jacobi Investment Management Harness, a platform designed to help institutional investment teams move proprietary AI prototypes into governed production workflows.
The company said AI has dramatically reduced the time required to build investment prototypes, while many firms still lack the infrastructure needed to deploy those models into production with consistent governance, audit trails, and controls.
Jacobi’s new Harness connects investment logic across its platform through a client-specific entity data model.
The product consists of four primary layers.
Its Foundation Multi-Asset Platform provides portfolio construction, risk analytics, reporting, and embedded AI agents structured around each investment firm’s processes.
The AI Workbench offers a controlled development environment connected to live portfolio data and production infrastructure.
Jacobi’s Production Infrastructure supports private deployments, API governance, audit trails, and deterministic production workflows.
The fourth layer, Forward Deployed Engineering, gives clients access to technical investment specialists who work directly with investment teams to build and deploy workflows before transferring the resulting systems back to the client.
Jacobi said the structure is intended to solve a growing challenge for asset managers using AI: turning internal prototypes and intellectual property into repeatable systems that can withstand governance, regulatory, and audit requirements.
The company’s open architecture allows firms to extend the platform using their own code, models, analytics, data, and applications while maintaining ownership of their intellectual property.
Founded in 2014, Jacobi provides investment technology to asset managers, wealth managers, pension funds, asset owners, and investment consultants.
