Janney Montgomery Scott announced that financial advisor Scott Patterson has joined the firm in Hunt Valley, Maryland, expanding the company’s wealth management presence in the region.
Patterson has joined Griffin Wealth Management, a four-person advisory team led by Financial Advisor and Branch Manager Kevin Doyle. He previously worked at Raymond James and reunites with Doyle, with whom he had collaborated earlier in his career.
The Griffin Wealth Management team brings more than 90 years of combined industry experience and focuses on long-term financial stewardship and personalized advice for clients.
Patterson has more than 26 years of experience in the financial services industry, advising individuals and families on investment strategies and financial planning designed to support long-term financial goals. His career began at Legg Mason in Baltimore, and he later worked at A.G. Edwards, Wachovia Securities/Wells Fargo Advisors, and Raymond James.
He graduated summa cum laude from St. Mary’s College of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Finance and holds the Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS) designation.
