JARCO Companies announced that it completed the acquisition of JW Sands in Poteet, Texas. The transaction became effective on November 1, 2025, and the acquired operation will now run under the company’s newly launched JARCO Sands brand.

The acquisition marks an important expansion of JARCO’s materials and proppant capabilities. By adding the former JW Sands operation, JARCO is extending beyond its existing mining and washing capabilities to include drying, giving the company a more complete production process for serving customers that require dry sand solutions.

The Poteet facility is capable of mining, washing, and drying more than 1 million tons of high-quality 100 mesh frac sand annually. This added capacity strengthens JARCO’s ability to meet customer demand across the region, particularly as the need for reliable frac sand proppant supply continues to grow.

The launch of the JARCO Sands brand also gives the company a dedicated platform for its expanded sand operations. With the addition of drying capabilities, JARCO can now offer both wet and dry sand products, broadening its product mix and giving customers more flexibility based on their operational needs.

The former JW Sands facilities enhance JARCO’s production footprint and create additional opportunities to serve energy and industrial customers that depend on consistent, high-quality 100 mesh frac sand. The acquisition also positions JARCO to improve supply reliability, expand its customer relationships, and support future growth in the proppant market.

Overall, the deal represents a meaningful step in JARCO’s strategy to expand its product line, increase production capacity, and deliver more comprehensive sand solutions to customers throughout the region.
