JBC Technologies has acquired NADCO Tapes & Labels, expanding its specialty converting and manufacturing capabilities across medical, aerospace, battery energy storage, industrial and consumer markets. Financial terms of the transaction were not announced.
NADCO is based in Sarasota, Florida, and manufactures custom functional tapes, labels, adhesive components and other specialty converted products.
The acquisition expands JBC’s national manufacturing footprint while adding capabilities in flexographic printing, advanced digital printing, specialty tape converting and labels.
NADCO’s Sarasota operation will remain open and become an important Southeast manufacturing location for the combined organization.
JBC plans to combine NADCO’s printing and converting capabilities with its existing vertically integrated flexible-materials platform.
The expanded organization will support identification, bonding, sealing, protection and product-performance applications.
Target applications include printed components for medical devices and consumer wearables as well as engineered components used in aerospace and other technically demanding markets.
JBC’s existing capabilities include engineered die-cut solutions and converted flexible materials used in applications ranging from satellite thermal management and brightness mitigation to medical wearables.
NADCO was founded by Rena’ and Neil Doniger and has operated for approximately 38 years.
The combination is intended to broaden JBC’s manufacturing capabilities while maintaining NADCO’s existing customer relationships and Southeast operating presence.
