World Insurance Associates, a Top 50 insurance brokerage, has acquired the business of Jersey Coast Insurance, an insurance agency based in Margate City, New Jersey. The transaction closed on October 1, 2025. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Jersey Coast provides personal and commercial insurance, with a focus on coastal properties, condominiums, and flood-related risks—coverage areas that are especially relevant in shoreline markets where exposure and underwriting requirements can be complex.
World said the acquisition expands its footprint in New Jersey and adds a specialist agency with deep local relationships and experience serving coastal communities. Jersey Coast’s team is expected to continue serving clients while gaining access to World’s broader product set and service capabilities.
World Insurance Associates is headquartered in Iselin, New Jersey, and operates a national platform across commercial and personal insurance, bonds, employee benefits, wealth management, retirement plan services, private client offerings, and payroll and HR solutions. The firm reports a network of more than 300 offices across the U.S. and U.K.
