Jesse & Ben’s announced the close of an oversubscribed $10 million Series A financing round led by Greycroft as the frozen french fry brand accelerates national retail expansion. The round included participation from Rich Products Ventures along with existing investors Willow Growth Partners, Sling Ventures, Midnight Venture Partners, and grt sht ventures. Additional investors included consumer founders and operators from brands including Orgain, Freshly, Poppi, Sweetgreen, and Hu Chocolate.
Greycroft Partner Eric Ryan, co-founder of Method and Olly, will join the company’s board as part of the investment.
Jesse & Ben’s said the funding will support supply chain expansion, retail growth, and leadership hiring as the company scales nationally.
Founded by restaurant operators Jesse Konig and Ben Johnson, the company launched on retail shelves in June 2024 with seed-oil-free frozen french fries made with russet potatoes, grass-fed beef tallow or avocado oil, and seasonings.
The company reported more than 1,100% growth during 2025 and said it expects to grow an additional 300% to 400% in 2026.
Jesse & Ben’s products are now available in more than 3,500 stores nationwide, including Whole Foods Market, Sprouts Farmers Market, Target, Thrive Market, Fresh Thyme, and MOM’s Organic Market.
The company recently launched nationally at Target, expanded distribution at Whole Foods Market, and secured regional Costco rotations. Jesse & Ben’s also said it has become the top-selling frozen potato brand at multiple retailers.
As part of its expansion efforts, the company hired Audrey Burger, formerly of Primal Kitchen and Kraft Heinz, as Founding President.
Jesse & Ben’s plans additional product launches in 2026, including Sweet Potato Tallow Fries and Crinkle Cut Beef Tallow Fries.
