Jetson: $50 Million Series A Raised To Scale Home Heat Pump Electrification

Jetson, a home electrification company focused on replacing gas furnaces with all-electric heat pump systems, announced it has raised $50 million in Series A funding as it expands into additional U.S. markets and builds out a broader product roadmap. The round was led by Eclipse, with participation from 8VC and Activate Capital, as well as existing backers Garage Capital and Active Impact. Jetson said the financing will support expansion into new states and continued development of its vertically integrated model, which combines direct-to-consumer sales, remote assessments, rebate management, and an in-house installation team.

Founded in 2024, Jetson built its early roadmap around central heat pump systems as a direct replacement for gas furnaces, which remain one of the largest sources of emissions in many homes. The company’s flagship product, Jetson Air, is designed to heat and cool a whole home through existing ductwork, aiming to reduce installation friction and shorten timelines for homeowners switching away from fossil-fuel heating.

Jetson says its vertically integrated approach reduces upgrade costs by roughly 30% to 50% by handling the purchase process end-to-end, including pricing, permitting and rebates, and installation. The company also embeds software into its systems to enable real-time monitoring, performance alerts, remote updates, and air-quality sensing—features it argues are needed in a residential HVAC market that has historically offered limited visibility into system performance.

Jetson estimates that about 46% of U.S. and Canadian households still rely on gas furnaces for primary heating, positioning the addressable market as large but operationally complex given the fragmented contractor base, varying rebate programs, and wide differences in housing stock and climate conditions. Jetson’s strategy is to standardize the homeowner experience with online pricing, streamlined project workflows, and a dedicated install operation rather than relying solely on third-party installer networks.

The company said it has installed more than 1,000 systems to date and noted that it was recognized in the TIME 2025 Best Inventions list. Jetson currently serves homeowners in Colorado, Massachusetts, and New York in the U.S., as well as Vancouver in Canada, and plans to broaden its footprint while adding additional electrification products beyond its first heat pump offering.

KEY QUOTES

“Jetson is delivering the future of residential electrification, starting with heat pumps. They’ve transformed a traditionally painful purchasing and installation cycle into a low-cost and delightful experience for homeowners. This is all driven by a veteran technology team that has previously built extremely advanced hardware and software products, now going after transforming old-line industries.”

Ryan Gibson, Investor, Eclipse

“Heat pumps have worked for decades, but their cost and complexity have put them out of reach of most homeowners. We’re removing the friction by making the process digital, fast, and affordable, while fully managing the purchase from start to finish. This funding will help us quickly bring this experience to more homeowners across the U.S. and Canada.”
