Jetstream Venture Fund Invests In Rejuvenate Bio Alongside Merck

Jetstream Venture Fund announced that it has established an investment interest in Rejuvenate Bio, a biotechnology company focused on gene therapy-based treatments for chronic and age-related diseases.

The investment gives Jetstream exposure to Rejuvenate Bio alongside investors including Merck Animal Health, VCapital, and Digitalis.

Jetstream is an interval fund focused on giving a wider group of investors access to venture capital opportunities that have historically been limited to institutional investors and private market participants.

Rejuvenate Bio was spun out of the Harvard Medical School laboratory of Dr. George Church. The company is developing a non-genome-editing gene therapy platform designed to address chronic disease through cellular-level intervention rather than only managing symptoms.

Rejuvenate Bio’s pipeline targets chronic conditions including heart failure, metabolic disease, and age-related mutations. Its lead human program, RJB-0402, is focused on a life-threatening inherited heart condition.

The company also has animal health divisions that are intended to help de-risk human development while creating potential near-term revenue through commercial partnerships.

Jetstream said the investment reflects its strategy of securing access to early-stage companies in high-growth sectors, including biotechnology and longevity science. The fund said Rejuvenate Bio’s platform aligns with its focus on companies with category-defining potential and strong validation from strategic investors.

As an interval fund, Jetstream is designed to provide lower minimums, no carried interest, and structured transparency for investors. The fund said it plans to increase daily net asset value reporting frequency as its early-stage portfolio matures.

Jetstream Venture Fund is managed by Xcellerant Ventures and Sweater Industries. The fund seeks to provide access to high-growth companies through a structure designed for broader investor participation.
