Jigso – an AI business observability platform – announced that it has emerged from stealth mode with $7.5 million in seed funding led by General Catalyst, Entrée Capital, and Jibe Ventures.
Jigso’s technology filters out the influx of unnecessary notifications and irrelevant organizational information by aggregating and mining the business’s applications, enterprise systems, and data, to present employees with the specific information they require. And with this investment, Jigso will further enhance its ChatGPT-style slack bot – called “Sidekick” while launching new business observability capabilities. Plus the company will also be expanding its team globally and bringing its products to new markets, focusing on North America and Europe.
The myriad of SaaS apps, dashboards, and databases in the modern workplace is placing a significant information burden on employees. And 80% of workers worldwide report that siloed data and information overload contribute to their daily stress and 35% of American employees report this specifically is adversely affecting their overall job performance.
The need for employees to conduct laborious searches and scan multiple systems to ascertain essential information is also an increasing problem. But with a Chat-GPT-like free-text search and track capability, Jigso’s Slack-based AI chatbot enables employees to get instant answers to queries and receive real-time updates and prompts regarding projects and activities that they have actively selected.
