JinkoSolar reached a major shipment milestone during the second quarter of 2026, becoming the first solar module manufacturer to surpass 420 GW of cumulative module deliveries even as industry pricing pressure drove quarterly revenue sharply lower.
By quarter-end, JinkoSolar had shipped more than 420 GW of modules globally.
Cumulative shipments of its Tiger Neo series surpassed 250 GW, making it the best-selling module family in the company’s history.
First-half module shipments totaled 29.6 GW, with approximately 70% delivered to overseas markets.
Second-quarter shipments reached 15.96 GW, increasing 16.7% sequentially but declining 34.4% year-over-year.
Revenue was RMB12.36 billion, or $1.82 billion, down 31.3% from a year earlier.
Gross profit was $75.6 million, while gross margin reached just 4.2%, compared with 8.3% sequentially and 2.9% in the prior-year quarter.
JinkoSolar said lower average selling prices and elevated costs associated with ramping newer high-efficiency products pressured margins.
The company reported a net loss attributable to shareholders of $102.8 million compared with a loss of RMB876.4 million a year earlier.
Adjusted net loss was $134.2 million.
JinkoSolar is shifting its strategy toward balancing shipment volume with profitability, cash flow and order quality. Full-year module shipment guidance now stands at 60 GW to 70 GW.
Its energy-storage operation is becoming another growth area. First-half ESS shipments increased significantly year-over-year with improving gross margin, and the company expects full-year ESS shipments to more than double.
JinkoSolar also launched its next-generation Tiger Neo 5.0, featuring power output above 700 watts and module efficiency of up to 25.91%.
