JiYu: $6.5 Million Raised By Korean Skincare Brand To Expand

JiYu, a Korean skincare brand focused on science-backed formulations, has raised $6.5 million in growth capital to accelerate its expansion across the United States and broader North American market. The company said it is tracking toward more than $70 million in annual revenue in 2026, reflecting triple-digit year-over-year growth.

The funding round included participation from private investors and strategic partners within the beauty industry. JiYu plans to use the capital to deepen its investment in clinical research, expand product development, and strengthen its presence across key distribution channels, including Amazon and TikTok Shop.

Founded with a Korea-first development model, JiYu operates across Seoul and the United States, combining access to South Korea’s advanced skincare manufacturing ecosystem with a U.S.-based commercial strategy. All formulations are developed and produced in South Korea, leveraging relationships with leading manufacturers and access to high-performance active ingredients.

The company’s product portfolio is built on a dual approach that combines consumer-driven problem-solving with scientific formulation. Its flagship Renewal & Rejuvenation Toner Pads feature a proprietary blend of ingredients designed to address multiple skin concerns, including uneven tone, dark spots, fine lines, and skin barrier health.

JiYu has also introduced an anti-aging moisturizing cream powered by NAD+, targeting cellular energy metabolism as a key driver of skin aging. The formulation is designed to support collagen production, improve firmness, and enhance overall skin renewal by addressing the biological processes underlying aging.

A significant portion of the newly raised capital will be allocated toward formal clinical studies aimed at generating independent, peer-reviewed data to validate the efficacy of its products. The company views this investment as a differentiator in a crowded direct-to-consumer skincare market, where clinical substantiation remains limited.

JiYu is also expanding its product pipeline with additional formulations centered on bioactive Korean ingredients and evidence-based results. The company emphasized its focus on ingredient transparency, responsible sourcing, and measurable performance outcomes.

As the brand grows, it has also taken steps to address product authenticity concerns, noting that its products are sold exclusively through official channels including its website, Amazon, and TikTok Shop. The company actively monitors unauthorized sellers and counterfeit listings to protect consumers.

Headquartered in Seoul with additional offices in Miami and Denver, JiYu positions itself as a bridge between Korean skincare innovation and Western consumer demand, aiming to deliver clinically informed, results-driven products at scale.
