JLL Partners – a New York-based middle market private equity firm focused on investing in businesses in the healthcare, aerospace, defense, and business services sectors – announced that Cara Killackey has joined the Firm as Managing Director of Investor Relations. Killackey will oversee the investor relations function at JLL and lead capital formation efforts for the firm’s flagship funds and active co-investment program.
Before joining JLL, she served as Principal at private equity firm I Squared Capital, responsible for fundraising and investor relations. And before I Squared Capital, Killackey held investor relations leadership roles at Partners Group and Probitas Partners. Earlier in her career, Killackey held senior internal audit roles at Nomura, Lehman Brothers and Protiviti.
Killackey holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a minor in French and has completed the FINRA series 79 certification. And Killackey is passionate about advancing women and diversity within private markets investing.
