JLL Partners, a New York-based private equity firm specializing in investments in healthcare, aerospace and defense, and business services, has acquired Parks Medical Electronics and merged the business with Vascular Technology. The transaction combines Parks Medical’s six decades of experience in Doppler ultrasound technologies with Vascular Technology’s portfolio of specialty vascular systems, which serve hospital, clinical, and operating room settings.

The newly combined company aims to create a premier medical device platform focused on vascular and robotics applications. By integrating their product lines, the organization plans to offer a comprehensive suite of both single-use and reusable Doppler ultrasound systems used for vascular diagnostics and blood flow evaluation. Parks Medical is recognized for its Flo Lab Vascular system, which is widely used to assess peripheral arterial disease. And Vascular Technology offers solutions for procedures ranging from routine vascular assessments to intraoperative support.

Parks Medical, founded in 1961, has maintained manufacturing at its Oregon facility and has been recognized for producing sensitive and durable Doppler and vascular testing systems used globally in clinical, surgical, and veterinary settings. The combination is positioned to enhance innovation capacity and support expanded customer service and clinical adoption across care environments.

The companies’ leadership teams will jointly guide the next phase of development as the integrated platform focuses on advancing medical device solutions for vascular care.
