Jolt Capital announced that Charles Bernheim has joined the firm as Value Creation Partner. He will be based in Berlin, Germany.
In this role, Bernheim will support Jolt Capital’s portfolio companies in accelerating growth, improving operational performance, and executing international expansion plans. His appointment also marks Jolt Capital’s first hire in Germany.
Bernheim brings more than 20 years of experience across the technology, e-commerce, and industrial sectors. His expertise includes growth strategy, business development, international expansion, and operational transformation.
As Value Creation Partner, Bernheim will work closely with management teams across Jolt Capital’s portfolio. His focus will include identifying and implementing value creation initiatives across commercial acceleration, operational excellence, organizational development, and international growth.
Before joining Jolt Capital, Bernheim served as Chief Commercial Officer at SellerX, where he led commercial operations and contributed to the company’s growth strategy. Prior to SellerX, he spent more than a decade at Amazon in several international leadership roles.
Bernheim began his career in Germany as an engineer in the glass industry. He holds an MBA from INSEAD, as well as degrees from Télécom ParisTech and RWTH Aachen University.
Jolt Capital said Bernheim’s appointment strengthens its value creation platform and reflects the firm’s commitment to providing portfolio companies with strategic, hands-on support. The firm said his experience with both large international corporations and high-growth companies will help portfolio leadership teams scale and expand internationally.
