JonesTrading Institutional Services announced the appointment of Kevin Dede as Managing Director, Equity Research, as the firm continues to expand its coverage of emerging technologies and disruptive industries.

Dede brings more than 30 years of experience in sell-side equity research. Most recently, he spent over a decade at H.C. Wainwright, where he was an early pioneer in cryptocurrency and digital asset research, launching one of the first dedicated coverage efforts in the space ahead of broader Wall Street adoption.
Throughout his career, Dede has covered a wide range of industries, including telecommunications, heavy industry, retail, financial services, and multiple segments of the technology sector. He began his career at Prudential Securities and has held roles at firms including Montgomery Securities, Merriman Curhan & Ford, and Auriga.
JonesTrading is positioning the hire as part of its broader strategy to build a differentiated research platform focused on high-impact sectors, particularly as innovation accelerates across industries and reshapes market dynamics.
