Joy Parenting Club has acquired Heba Care, a digital health platform focused on supporting families navigating complex health and developmental needs, in a move that significantly expands Joy’s ambition to build the most comprehensive AI-powered parenting ecosystem. The transaction brings clinically validated care-coordination tools into Joy’s platform while accelerating the company’s mission to provide always-on, trusted guidance to parents worldwide.
Based in San Francisco, Joy Parenting Club announced that the acquisition coincides with the rollout of a new AI-powered tracker for feeding, sleep, and diaper activity. The tracker is currently in beta testing and is expected to be available to all Joy users within 30 to 60 days. By integrating Heba’s technology, Joy aims to broaden its reach beyond general parenting support and deepen its capabilities in managing more complex family health and developmental challenges.
The acquisition comes at a time when demand for accessible and reliable family support continues to rise. With significant reductions in physical family hubs and a growing reliance on social media for parenting advice, Joy is positioning itself as a trusted digital alternative that combines expert-led guidance with intelligent technology. The company believes that uniting its AI-driven parenting expertise with Heba’s care management tools will allow it to deliver higher-quality, more coordinated support to families across multiple geographies.
As part of the expanded platform, Joy members will gain access to Heba’s clinically validated tools designed to help families navigate healthcare systems, coordinate care, and manage developmental and medical needs. Families previously using Heba, particularly those caring for children with developmental differences or complex health conditions, can transition to Joy’s broader ecosystem, which includes AI-powered assistance, expert consultations, curated content, and parenting services.
Heba’s impact in this space has already been demonstrated through independent research. Earlier this year, a study funded by Innovate UK showed measurable improvements among Heba users, including a 37% increase in care coordination and a 38% reduction in stress. Joy views these outcomes as a strong complement to its own focus on delivering practical, evidence-based support through technology and human expertise.
The acquisition also follows Joy’s $14 million Series A fundraising round completed in November 2025, highlighting the company’s rapid growth and reinforcing its strategy to invest in platform expansion and product innovation. With fresh capital and the addition of Heba’s technology and team, Joy is preparing to scale its services to meet growing global demand for digital parenting and family health solutions.
Founded to help parents thrive at every stage of parenthood, Joy offers members 24/7 access to certified parenting experts ranging from parent coaches to lactation consultants. The company is backed by Forerunner Ventures, Raga Partners, Magnify Ventures, and Obvious Ventures. Heba, founded in 2022, supports more than 15,000 families across the United Kingdom, United States, Australia, and Canada, and works with organizations including the NHS, Bupa, and national charities.
