JPMorganChase announced that Doug Petno and Troy Rohrbaugh have been named Co-Presidents of the company, effective immediately.
Petno and Rohrbaugh had been serving as Co-CEOs of JPMorganChase’s Commercial & Investment Bank. In addition to their new roles as Co-Presidents, Petno will become sole CEO of the Commercial & Investment Bank, while Rohrbaugh will become CEO of Consumer and Community Banking.
The leadership changes are part of JPMorganChase’s ongoing succession planning process. The company said the appointments are intended to support continued leadership at the highest levels of the organization.
Marianne Lake, currently CEO of Consumer and Community Banking, has decided to retire from JPMorganChase after more than 25 years with the company. Lake will work with Rohrbaugh and other senior executives over the coming weeks to help ensure a smooth transition.
Other leadership roles remain unchanged. Mary Erdoes will continue as CEO of Asset & Wealth Management, and Jennifer Piepszak will continue as Chief Operating Officer.
Petno, Rohrbaugh, Erdoes, and Piepszak will continue reporting to Jamie Dimon, Chairman and CEO of JPMorganChase.
JPMorganChase had $4.9 trillion in assets and $364 billion in stockholders’ equity as of March 31, 2026. The company is a global financial services firm with businesses across investment banking, consumer and small business financial services, commercial banking, financial transaction processing, and asset management.
