JTB Corp. announced that it has reached an agreement to acquire All Wise Holdings, the operator of Bangkok-based EXO Travel Group. The acquisition will be made through a JTB group company in the Asia-Pacific region. Financial terms were not disclosed.
EXO Travel is a leading destination management company focused on the B2B travel market, primarily across the Asia Pacific.
Founded in 1993, EXO Travel has built a strong brand presence with partners in Europe, North America, and Australia. The company supports travel advisors, tour operators, and industry partners with locally grounded travel experiences across Asia and beyond.
EXO Travel operates across Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, South Korea, and Myanmar. It also has destination bases in Egypt and Morocco.
JTB said the acquisition supports its “Departing Globally, Arriving Globally” strategy, which is designed to shift the company from a Japan-centric business model to a global network of interconnected regions.
The company said EXO Travel’s source-market customer base and destination service infrastructure will be integrated into JTB’s operations.
The acquisition is expected to strengthen JTB’s ability to serve growing demand for multi-destination travel across Asia, including Japan.
JTB also expects to combine the strengths of JTB Global Marketing & Travel, which supports the group’s Japan inbound travel business, with EXO Travel’s expertise in intra-Asia travel.
JTB said its post-acquisition strategy includes expanding outbound business from Europe, North America, and Australia to Asia, including Japan. The company also plans to integrate and optimize sales, marketing, and operational functions across the combined platform.
JTB said the deal is intended to help the group become a leading destination management company in Asia and support its broader ambition of establishing a stronger global DMC position.
