Juicebox: $80 Million At $850 Million Valuation Raised For AI Recruiting Platform

Juicebox, an AI recruiting platform, announced that it raised $80 million in Series B funding at an $850 million valuation. The round was led by DST Global, with participation from Sequoia, Coatue, Y Combinator, NFDG, and Verified Capital.

The San Francisco-based company said it has tripled ARR since its Series A in July 2025 and now serves more than 5,000 customers spanning fast-growing technology companies and Fortune 100 brands. According to the company, customers report up to 90% less time spent identifying top candidates using the platform.

Juicebox’s platform is designed to address challenges caused by the surge of job applications driven by AI-enabled tools. The company said the average job opening now receives nearly 250 applications, creating significant strain on recruiting teams and making it difficult to identify high-quality candidates through traditional inbound pipelines.

Instead of relying on inbound applications, Juicebox focuses on an outbound recruiting model. The platform deploys AI agents that search across a large talent graph, identify candidates that match open roles, and conduct targeted outreach to engage them directly before they enter the job market.

Companies including Ramp, Cursor, Cognition, and Samsara use Juicebox to build candidate pipelines centered on quality rather than volume. Juicebox said it has powered more than 560,000 talent searches and engaged over 3 million candidates to date.

The company was founded by David Paffenholz and Ishan Gupta, who started the business at ages 22 and 19. Juicebox said the new capital will be used to accelerate product development, expand its enterprise go-to-market strategy, and support international expansion, beginning with the opening of a London office later this year.

KEY QUOTES:

“Building a talent function from scratch at a hyper-growth startup means I need to rely on tools that actually keep up. Juicebox’s agents are helping us uncover candidates we wouldn’t have found otherwise, and with the kind of quality that allows us to grow faster than any other company.”

Patrick Circelli, Head of Talent at Cognition

“Juicebox is transforming how companies find and hire talent. The strength of the product David and Ishan have built is clear from its rapid adoption and the exceptional love its customers feel for it, from high-growth technology companies to global financial institutions and traditional enterprises. DST Global is delighted to partner with Juicebox as they build the intelligent automated tools that the recruiting industry has needed for decades.”

Saurabh Gupta, Co-Founder at DST Global

“Recruiting is going through its biggest shift in decades, and most teams haven’t caught up yet. The old model isn’t working, both for employers buried in applications that aren’t the right fit and for candidates who never hear back. Companies getting ahead are treating talent acquisition like an outbound engine, with recruiters and agents working hand-in-hand to target the best candidates.”
