Jump has introduced AI-assisted, real-time account opening that allows financial advisors to move from a client conversation to a completed, validated and signed account-opening workflow during a typical advisor-client meeting.
The new capability supports Schwab Advisor Services and Fidelity, with the Fidelity workflow facilitated through Dispatch.
Jump said the technology is designed to replace a fragmented account-opening process that traditionally requires advisors and operations teams to move among client forms, CRM systems, custodian portals and electronic signature tools.
Those workflows can require firms to repeatedly enter information that has already been captured elsewhere, while missing data can result in not-in-good-order submissions that require additional follow-up.
Jump instead combines those steps into a connected workflow intended to let advisors remain focused on the client conversation while the platform handles much of the administrative process.
Jump initially introduced AI-assisted account opening in June 2026.
The earlier version used client information from connected systems to automatically prefill required fields for advisor review.
The company has now expanded that technology into a real-time workflow that can simultaneously pull information from meetings, documents, forms and CRM systems.
If required information is missing, Jump can identify the gap during the meeting and capture the information directly from the conversation.
The application can then be populated and reviewed by the advisor and client before being sent electronically for signature while the meeting is still underway.
The Schwab integration builds on Jump’s connection with Schwab Advisor Center’s fully digital account onboarding capabilities.
Jump has expanded that integration to support initiating transfers of assets, creating ACH bank-transfer profiles and incorporating a firm’s custom forms.
Those actions can be initiated from Jump and combined into a single digital envelope for client review and electronic authorization.
A separate Docusign-based option expands support for additional Schwab and Fidelity account types and forms.
Jump said the combined capabilities make it the first AI platform for financial advisors supporting real-time account opening across either Schwab or Fidelity.
The company is targeting one of the more labor-intensive administrative processes in wealth management.
Research from Dispatch estimates that opening an account can involve more than 150 data points and require two to three hours of manual work.
Jump estimates its real-time workflow can reduce that process to approximately 10 minutes in one sitting.
For an advisory practice opening 30 accounts annually, Jump estimates the technology could return approximately 65 hours of operational capacity per year, although results will vary depending on account types, workflows and implementation.
The real-time account-opening capability will initially be available in limited beta to Jump customers.
Independent advisory firms can enable the feature directly, while enterprise deployments will require home-office approval and configuration.
Jump provides AI technology across the advisor-client lifecycle and works with financial services organizations including LPL Financial, Focus Financial, Allianz, Manulife, Osaic Wealth, Cetera Financial Group, Equitable and Principal Financial Group.
