Juniper Group, an operating group of Vela Software and part of Constellation Software, announced the completion of its acquisition of Deem from Travelport. The deal strengthens Juniper Group’s travel technology portfolio, enhances its corporate travel capabilities, and expands its presence in the U.S. market.

Deem is a corporate travel management and booking platform that provides booking, procurement, and trip management solutions for corporations and travel management companies worldwide. In recent years, the company expanded its technology platform, strengthened operational capabilities, and developed deep integration with Travelport+, enabling customers to access broader travel content and streamline corporate travel workflows.

Following the acquisition, Deem will continue operating independently under its existing leadership team and brand. The company will benefit from Juniper Group’s long-term ownership approach, which emphasizes sustainable growth, operational continuity, and customer success. The transaction was sponsored by Juniper Travel Technology, a Juniper Group business unit focused on booking and connectivity solutions for the global travel industry.

Juniper Group said the acquisition adds a respected corporate travel platform, strong enterprise relationships, and significant expertise across the corporate travel ecosystem. The company views the deal as a strategic expansion of its travel technology offerings and a way to deepen its reach in the corporate travel segment.

Deem leadership highlighted that its time under Travelport ownership enabled stronger partnerships with corporations and travel management companies using the Travelport+ platform. The company expects its existing integrations, multi-GDS capabilities, and access to Juniper Group’s resources to support continued growth and customer service.

Travelport noted that Deem evolved into a more competitive and better integrated product during its ownership period. The company believes Deem is now positioned to thrive within an organization where travel technology is a core strategic focus. Travelport and Deem will continue to maintain a relationship following the completion of the transaction.
