Juristat has secured a substantial growth investment led by Advantage Capital, positioning the LegalTech company for rapid expansion, accelerated product development, and a new headquarters in New Haven, Connecticut. The financing marks a meaningful milestone for the company as demand for efficient, data-driven patent prosecution tools increases.
The investment will support the advancement of key platform capabilities, including enhanced global patent data coverage across IP5 jurisdictions, expanded generative AI functionality, and more sophisticated portfolio management offerings such as valuation and cost forecasting. Juristat plans to increase its presence in Connecticut, supported by Advantage Capital through the InvestCT program, which directs private capital to growth-oriented companies within the state.
Juristat has become a leading technology partner for corporate IP teams and law firms navigating higher workloads and rising expectations for predictive analytics. Since 2013, the company has helped transform manual patent prosecution processes with data-driven tools now used by 42 of the top 100 patent firms. The latest financing follows a 2024 private equity investment, representing Juristat’s second major capital infusion in under two years.
Advantage Capital, an impact-focused investment firm, has deployed more than $4.4 billion into over 1,000 companies nationwide since 1992. Its investment in Juristat aligns with its strategy of backing innovative companies that contribute to long-term economic growth, particularly in underserved regions.
Juristat continues to build on its reputation as a leader in patent analytics and workflow automation, serving technology leaders such as Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing, Kyocera, and Lenovo, as well as many of the world’s most prominent IP law firms. With its latest funding, the company is positioned to scale its product suite further and expand its operational footprint in Connecticut.
