K25.ai: $100 Million Valuation Investment Fuels Public Listing Ambitions For AI Prediction Market Platform

By Amit Chowdhry ● May 25, 2026

K25.ai announced the closing of a $100 million Pre-A strategic investment round, led by NewGenIVF Group Limited. The deal includes an initial $2 million strategic investment from NewGenIVF, which trades on Nasdaq under the ticker NIVF, along with an option to increase the investment to up to $10 million.

The companies also entered into an exclusive APAC agency partnership designed to accelerate K25.ai’s expansion across permitted Asia-Pacific markets. As part of the agreement, K25.ai co-founders, including tech veteran Andy Cheung, are expected to join NIVF’s board of directors to strengthen strategic collaboration and alignment with public-company governance.

K25.ai is building an AI-native live streaming and watch-to-predict platform focused on the convergence of artificial intelligence, prediction markets, creator monetization, and real-time content engagement. The company’s platform enables users to participate in prediction events tied to sports, esports, entertainment, creator challenges, and culturally relevant APAC events in jurisdictions where permitted.

The company said its AI layer supports multiple aspects of the prediction-market lifecycle, including event discovery, market generation, live content analysis, data extraction, outcome monitoring, and resolution workflows. K25.ai believes this infrastructure can help creators and communities launch scalable prediction events around live content more efficiently.

Andy Cheung leads K25.ai and brings experience from several major technology and digital asset companies. He previously served as COO of OKEx, now known as OKX, where he helped scale the cryptocurrency exchange globally. He also served as CEO of Groupon Hong Kong and previously held the role of Independent Director and Digital Asset Treasury Architect at Nasdaq-listed Prenetics Global Limited.

The strategic partnership is expected to support K25.ai’s commercial expansion across Thailand, Singapore, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, and other permitted APAC markets, while excluding Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, and other restricted jurisdictions.

K25.ai also revealed ambitions to pursue a future public-market listing. The company said it may evaluate potential pathways, including a strategic transaction, reverse takeover, or other public-market structure, subject to regulatory approvals, Nasdaq requirements, market conditions, and shareholder approvals where necessary.

The company believes the APAC region remains underserved by existing prediction-market platforms, particularly in localized entertainment, esports, sports, and creator-led content categories. K25.ai aims to position itself as a regional leader by combining AI-assisted market generation with live streaming and creator-driven engagement tools.

The announcement noted that K25.ai’s $100 million valuation represents approximately 0.27% of selected publicly reported valuation references for larger global prediction-market companies, according to internal management analysis and selected market comparisons.

K25.ai stated that its products and services will only be launched in jurisdictions where such activities are legally permitted and where required licenses or regulatory approvals have been obtained.

KEY QUOTES:

“Since the early days of exchanges, the biggest challenge has always been making market products simple enough for mainstream users. User behavior has evolved from using search engines to social media to LLM, yet the core human need remains unchanged: people crave better ways to discover information and understand what is truly real. We believe AI and live streaming represent the next major frontier. K25.ai is not aiming to be another exchange or online gaming site. We want to become the Google and Meta of this new era. Just as Google transformed how the world discovers information and Meta redefined how people connect and share reality, K25.ai is being built as a new information market layer, where quantified consensus through AI-powered predictions and live streaming empowers millions to discover truth in real time.”

Andy Cheung, Tech Veteran And Co-Founder Of K25.ai

“We see K25.ai as a generational opportunity at the intersection of AI and prediction markets. Andy’s track record at OKX, Groupon, and Prenetics combined with the explosive growth of this sector, makes this one of the most compelling strategic investments we’ve evaluated. We’re committed to supporting K25.ai’s path to becoming a publicly listed category leader in APAC.”
