Kaltura, a digital experience and video platform company, announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire PathFactory, an AI-driven content intelligence and personalization platform, for approximately $22 million in cash. The transaction is expected to close in the second quarter of 2026, subject to customary closing conditions.
The acquisition is aimed at accelerating Kaltura’s evolution from a video experience platform into a broader agentic digital experiences platform. PathFactory’s technology enables organizations to understand user behavior, context, and intent, and to dynamically assemble and sequence personalized digital experiences designed to improve engagement and business outcomes.
PathFactory’s solutions are used by more than 100 enterprise customers, including companies such as Nvidia, Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, and LG. The company has also been recognized as a leader in conversation automation solutions for B2B, reflecting its positioning in the emerging agentic AI automation market.
Kaltura expects the addition of PathFactory’s capabilities to expand its platform across a range of use cases, including customer-facing marketing and sales, employee training and internal communications, personalized education, and interactive audience engagement across media and live events.
By integrating PathFactory’s AI-powered content intelligence and journey orchestration with its existing media infrastructure and conversational avatar technologies, including its recent acquisition of eSelf.ai, Kaltura aims to deliver a unified platform that supports content creation, management, personalization, and conversational engagement at scale.
The company believes the combined platform will help organizations move beyond static digital experiences toward more personalized, context-driven interactions that adapt to user intent in real time.
