Kanu AI has raised $11.7 million as it emerges from stealth with a platform designed to capture how employees perform complex work and turn that knowledge into production-grade enterprise software. Trilogy Equity Partners led the financing, with participation from a16z speedrun, BMW i Ventures and Accel.
Founded just over a year ago, Kanu said revenue has more than doubled every quarter since launch.
The company currently serves enterprises across commercial real estate, insurance, financial services and technology.
Kanu is built on the premise that much enterprise intelligence is embedded in how employees interpret information, make decisions, and execute workflows, not simply in existing software systems.
Employees show Kanu their workflows and connect the existing systems they use.
Kanu then converts those workflows into operational software that runs in the customer’s cloud environment.
The platform is designed so enterprise data stays within the customer’s environment and continues to use existing permissions and policies.
Customers retain control over model selection, logic, and outputs.
When employees change a workflow, Kanu can adapt the associated software so the updated process becomes available across the organization.
The system also makes outputs inspectable, allowing users to see the source information used, how information was interpreted and how a result was reached.
Workflows can incorporate human approval and review checkpoints where required.
For one national customer, Kanu reduced an analysis process involving PDFs, email, spreadsheets, CRM data and geographic information systems from as long as eight weeks to less than 10 minutes.
Kanu said the customer is on track to reduce software expenses by more than $1 million during 2026 and generate millions of dollars in additional revenue by year-end.
Kanu is currently available through AWS Marketplace and Google Cloud Marketplace and is hiring across engineering and business roles.
KEY QUOTES:
“Companies have spent decades buying software built around someone else’s idea of how they should work. Instead of renting generic intelligence from another vendor, companies can use Kanu to turn their own data, judgment, and operating expertise into an asset they own, and compound it across the organization.”
Karan Grover, Founder and CEO of Kanu AI
“Top of every enterprise leader’s list is how to leverage AI to truly enhance their business performance in an enterprise-worthy fashion. Kanu AI’s solution uniquely answers that question.”
Chuck Stonecipher, Managing Director of Trilogy Equity Partners
