Kapital has raised $125 million in new financing from Tru Arrow Partners and Fasanara Capital, with participation from Cervin Ventures, Niya Partners and Overlook Capital.
The financing will support continued investment in Kapital’s proprietary artificial intelligence platform and data analytics capabilities while helping the financial institution expand across Mexico, the United States, Latin America and Europe.
Kapital provides AI-powered financial services designed to help businesses manage operations, credit and cash flow. The company describes itself as one of the largest B2B financial institutions in Latin America and is using technology to bring financial capabilities traditionally available to larger corporations to smaller businesses.
The new capital will allow Kapital to deepen development of its proprietary AI platform and expand the broader financial services ecosystem built around the technology.
Kapital is prioritizing growth in Mexico and the United States, while also pursuing opportunities across other Latin American and European markets.
The financing follows significant growth across Kapital’s business during the first half of 2026.
Kapital recently reported approximately $50 million in net income for the period.
Its loan portfolio increased 220% year over year to more than $1.7 billion, while deposits increased 234% to more than $3.5 billion.
The company also reported a 2.86% non-performing loan ratio and an efficiency ratio of 34.9%, metrics Kapital said reflect its focus on maintaining asset quality, risk management and operating discipline as it scales.
The new financing follows Kapital’s Series C financing announced in September 2025, when the company raised up to $110 million and more than doubled its valuation to over $1.3 billion.
That financing established Kapital as a unicorn and provided additional capital for its international expansion and AI-powered financial services strategy.
Kapital now serves more than 350,000 customers across Mexico, the United States, Europe and other Latin American markets.
The company operates across Mexico, Colombia, Spain and the United States, providing financial products and technology for individuals and businesses.
Its platform is designed to help customers manage credit, cash flow and business operations through a combination of financial services, AI and data analytics.
Kapital also operates brokerage and fund management businesses focused on savings and investment products.
The company has twice been recognized by the World Economic Forum as a Technology Pioneer and is one of a relatively small group of unicorn startups headquartered in Mexico.
The $125 million financing provides Kapital with additional resources to continue expanding its financial services platform while investing further in the AI and data infrastructure underpinning its products.
