Kartesia has invested in Engineered Fire Piping, a Spain-based manufacturer of fire protection piping systems, to support the company’s next phase of domestic and international growth.
Founded in 2011 and headquartered in Yuncos, Toledo, Engineered Fire Piping specializes in the manufacture and prefabrication of piping and components for fire protection systems. The company serves commercial, industrial, and residential customers in Spain and international markets.
Engineered Fire Piping operates an integrated manufacturing model that provides prefabricated piping systems ready for installation. The approach is designed to reduce on-site labor requirements, project timelines, and overall costs for customers working on complex fire protection projects.
In addition to its core piping products, the company supplies complementary fire protection equipment, allowing it to offer a broader solution for large-scale projects. Kartesia plans to support further cross-selling of these ancillary products alongside Engineered Fire Piping’s primary piping systems.
The company’s founders and management team, led by CEO Óscar Fernández, will continue running the business. With Kartesia’s backing, Engineered Fire Piping plans to expand into additional vertical markets, build an international sales organization, and accelerate growth across Spain and other geographies.
The partnership will also support continued investment in Engineered Fire Piping’s workforce, production capabilities, and product innovation while maintaining the entrepreneurial culture that has supported the company’s development to date.
Kartesia made the investment through its Kartesia Credit Opportunities strategy. The firm’s transaction team included Guillermo Ferre, Carlos Vázquez, and Carlos Peña. Advisors involved in the transaction included Iñigo González de Castejon, Arcano, Indefi, KPMG, and Cuatrecasas.
