KB Home has named company veteran Casey Dare President of its Tampa Division, giving him responsibility for the homebuilder’s operations across the region as it prepares to open four additional single-family communities.
Dare will oversee the full homebuilding process in the Tampa market, including land acquisition, construction, sales, and customer service.
The appointment puts a longtime KB Home executive in charge of a Florida market where the company has operated since 2002 and continues to expand its community footprint.
KB Home plans to open four new single-family developments during 2026: Morningside, Woodland Oaks, Deer Springs and Meade Estates.
Dare brings more than 20 years of homebuilding experience, including a decade at KB Home.
His progression through the company has included positions as superintendent, customer service manager, director of customer service and operations, and Senior Vice President of Operations.
Most recently, Dare served as Executive Vice President for KB Home’s Orlando Division, giving him additional operating experience in Florida before taking responsibility for Tampa.
Before his homebuilding career, Dare served eight years as an active-duty officer in the U.S. Army.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Middle Tennessee State University and an MBA from Georgia Southern University.
The Tampa appointment comes as KB Home maintains a national footprint spanning 50 markets.
During its nearly 70-year history, the company has built more than 700,000 homes.
Dare’s new position places him in charge of both the operational execution and strategic expansion of KB Home’s Tampa business, with land development, construction quality, sales and the customer experience all falling under his regional leadership.
