KDG, a professional services firm specializing in business advisory, technology, accounting, and artificial intelligence services, announced it has acquired Square Foot Consultants, a Pennsylvania-based provider of business advisory, technology, and ERP consulting services focused on mid-market manufacturers.

The acquisition formalizes a relationship built through several years of collaboration between the two firms. By combining their expertise, the companies aim to expand capabilities across enterprise resource planning, artificial intelligence, business intelligence, and operational consulting for organizations seeking to modernize systems and streamline manufacturing operations.

Square Foot Consultants has developed a reputation for helping manufacturers improve operational processes, integrate data systems, and implement sustainable technology strategies. The firm works closely with leadership teams and employees to analyze workflows, eliminate data silos, and design systems that organizations can maintain over the long term.

With the integration, Square Foot’s capabilities in business process improvement, AI, and organizational training will be added to KDG’s existing portfolio of advisory and technology services. The combined team plans to help organizations execute strategic initiatives while improving the performance of ERP platforms, operational systems, and data infrastructure.

Leadership from both organizations emphasized that the partnership is rooted in a shared approach to client relationships and long term value creation. Over the years, the companies have worked closely together on projects, leading to alignment in culture and consulting philosophy.

Following the acquisition, Square Foot Consultants’ team will integrate into KDG while continuing to support existing clients. The combined organization will serve businesses across sectors including manufacturing, healthcare, finance, and nonprofit.

KDG said the expanded team and expertise will allow the company to deliver broader advisory services and help clients navigate increasingly complex technology and operational challenges. The acquisition also reflects both firms’ shared emphasis on quality, collaboration, and community engagement through charitable initiatives.
