Keebo, a company focused on autonomous cloud data warehouse optimization, announced the appointment of Eric Shoemaker as chief executive officer. The leadership change marks the beginning of the company’s next growth phase as demand rises for technologies that help enterprises optimize performance and manage cloud data infrastructure costs.
Shoemaker brings extensive experience building and scaling enterprise software businesses. Prior to joining Keebo, he served as chief revenue officer at Device42, a software company acquired by Freshworks for $230 million. Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles at CloudHealth Technologies and Carbon Black, where he helped scale platforms focused on multi-cloud management and cybersecurity for enterprise customers.
Keebo develops technology designed to automatically optimize cloud data warehouses used by modern enterprise data platforms such as Snowflake and Databricks. Its patented Data Learning technology continuously analyzes production workloads and autonomously improves query performance, infrastructure utilization, and cloud spending across data environments.
The company positions its platform as an “agentic AI” system that monitors and optimizes data infrastructure in real time, helping organizations control costs while improving performance.
In his new role, Shoemaker will oversee Keebo’s go-to-market strategy, expand strategic partnerships, and drive broader adoption of the company’s platform among enterprise customers. He succeeds co-founder Barzan Mozafari as CEO. Mozafari will remain involved with the company in his role as a co-founder and board member.
