Keller Williams Realty announced an agreement to acquire the Jason Mitchell Group, a top-ranked U.S. teamerage-style independent brokerage and real estate referral and lead conversion platform.
The acquisition is expected to strengthen Keller Williams’ platform by adding a highly scalable brokerage model built around consumer lead generation, referral relationships, and agent conversion systems. The closing is subject to certain conditions and is anticipated to take place in the third quarter of 2026.
JMG is headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona, and operates across 37 states with more than 1,200 affiliated agents. According to RealTrends Verified, the brokerage generated nearly $5.9 billion in sales volume across more than 12,300 transaction sides in 2025.
JMG has built a business focused on connecting motivated buyers and sellers with agents through relationships with major mortgage lenders and real estate platforms. Its referral network includes Rocket Mortgage, Mr. Cooper, Redfin, Zillow, New American Funding, and Veterans United.
Keller Williams said JMG represents the kind of entrepreneurial business it was built to support. The company said the acquisition gives JMG access to a broader global real estate platform while giving KW a proven lead conversion and referral engine.
Jason Mitchell will continue leading the business as president of the JMG Division and will serve on Keller Williams’ executive team. Jake Kraft, Chief Revenue Officer at JMG, and Ken Friedlander, Vice President of Operations at JMG, will also join KW as part of the transaction.
The deal is designed to support JMG’s next phase of growth while preserving the leadership and operating model that helped the brokerage scale nationally. Keller Williams said the combination creates a larger platform for expanding JMG’s reach and supporting agents across more markets.
Keller Williams is based in Austin, Texas, and is the world’s largest real estate franchise by agent count. The company said it is also ranked No. 1 in units and sales volume in the U.S.
Citizens Capital Markets & Advisory and Buchalter represented JMG. Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer served as legal advisor to Keller Williams.
