Kelluu announced it has raised €15 million in a Series A round to scale its aerial autonomy platform for persistent low-altitude monitoring, addressing emerging drone and airspace security threats. The round was led by NATO Innovation Fund, marking its first investment in a Finnish company, with participation from Keen Venture Partners, Gungnir Capital, and Tesi.
Kelluu is focused on closing critical gaps in low-altitude surveillance, particularly in Arctic and northern European regions, where traditional monitoring systems struggle to provide continuous coverage. The company’s platform uses aerial autonomy to enable persistent, wide-area monitoring, supporting defense and security operations in increasingly complex environments.
The urgency of the problem has grown alongside the rise of drone-based threats, which have reshaped modern airspace dynamics. Kelluu’s technology is designed to provide real-time visibility and response capabilities in environments where legacy infrastructure is limited or ineffective.
The company already operates across more than 100,000 square kilometers of airspace in Finland and Sweden, demonstrating early deployment at scale. Its Capability-as-a-Service model allows customers to access continuous monitoring without the need to build or manage their own infrastructure.
The new funding will support further development of Kelluu’s platform, including integration of advanced sensor technologies, as well as expansion into new international markets.
The investment reflects increasing focus across NATO and allied countries on strengthening airspace security and developing autonomous systems capable of adapting to evolving threats.
