Kennedys, the global law firm, has expanded its corporate and commercial practice with the appointment of two partners in London, strengthening its capabilities in financial crime and corporate transactions. Lowri Jones joins from Cripps, and Will White joins from DLA Piper, bringing combined decades of experience across M&A, financial crime, compliance, and regulatory matters. The hires follow the February appointment of commercial disputes partner Samson Spanier, making 2026 a year of continued expansion for the practice.

Jones brings over 20 years of experience in corporate transactions, with a practice predominantly focused on advising insurance intermediaries and other regulated businesses on mergers and acquisitions, investments and corporate advisory matters. She has closed in excess of 100 deals in the insurance and financial services sector and is particularly experienced in supporting clients through efficient deal processes as part of an acquisition journey.

White specializes in the full spectrum of financial crime matters, including bribery, fraud and money laundering, and also advises clients on broader compliance matters such as whistleblowing protocols, modern slavery and workplace misconduct. His practice spans advisory work, internal investigations and regulatory engagement, acting for both UK and international clients across financial services, entertainment, sport and retail.

Kennedys’ corporate and commercial practice is recognized in The Legal 500 2026 as a stellar offering capable of competing with any of the magic circle firms. The practice provides strategic advice across the UK, Europe, Middle East, Asia Pacific and the Americas, offering contentious expertise across tax, financial crime, insolvency, commercial disputes, employment, real estate and products law.
