Wealth management platform company Kestra Financial announced that John Amore, the current head of wealth management, will assume the role of Kestra Financial president effective the beginning of April 2025. And Stephen Langlois, the current president of Kestra Financial, will retire at the end of 2025. Langlois will remain on staff as a senior advisor through the end of the year while ensuring a smooth transition.

As the head of wealth management for Kestra Financial, Amore has crafted an offering focused on serving the complete wealth management professional. And the wealth management capabilities include portfolio construction, investment products, advisory services, financial planning, retirement plans, alternative investments, and insurance solutions.

Amore has a unique mix of expertise in his role, collaborating with advisors and managing platforms, enabling him to forge deep and trusting relationships with advisors while building out capabilities to empower their success and the financial independence of their clients.

Amore will continue focusing on enabling financial professionals to exceed client expectations by taking full advantage of the freedom and flexibility available through their partnership with Kestra Financial and the rest of the Kestra Holdings ecosystem, including Kestra Investment Management, Arden Trust, Bluespring Wealth Partners, and Kestra Insurance Planning.

Langlois has been with the firm for nearly five years, heading the organization through the global pandemic while improving service and expanding capabilities for advisors. And this includes Kestra Financial’s launch of improved processes for opening client accounts by advisors in the form of its Digital Account Opening platform.

As president, Langlois has driven Kestra Financial’s revenue growth while deepening the value Kestra Financial provides to advisors looking to strengthen their brands and grow their businesses, powering the financial independence of their clients.

Amore has led wealth management teams for over 19 years in the United States, Europe, and Latin America. Before joining Kestra Financial, he led global businesses at UBS across various wealth management channels. Amore began his career in management consulting in the financial services sector and earned his MBA/MIA at Columbia University and his BS at Boston College.

And before to joining Kestra Financial, Langlois held senior positions at leading wealth management firms, including eMoney Advisor, Fidelity Investments, and LPL Financial.
