Ohio-Based Digital Identity Management Company Keyfactor Raises $77 Million

Keyfactor, an Independence, Ohio-based digital identity management solutions company, announced it closed $77 million in growth funding from Insight Venture Partners. With this investment, Keyfactor will continue to accelerate market expansion and meet the growing demand for its suite of solutions, including Keyfactor Command (certificate management platform) and Keyfactor Control (end-to-end identity security in the IoT lifecycle).

Founded in 2001, Keyfactor doubled its revenue year-over-year and now it secures more than 300 million certificates for Global 2000 clients worldwide. Keyfactor originally started under the name Certified Security Solutions (CSS). And the company rebranded in November 2018.
