Keystone, a global technology and advisory firm specializing in economics, technology, strategy, and digital ecosystems, announced the appointment of Dr. Jen Stave as Partner and Global Strategic Advisory Practice Leader. In this role, Stave will lead AI Navigator, Keystone’s enterprise-focused offering designed to help organizations transform artificial intelligence initiatives into scalable business impact.
Stave will work closely with Keystone co-founder Marco Iansiti, whose work on technology strategy and AI transformation helped shape the firm’s approach to advising organizations navigating digital change. Her appointment expands Keystone’s Strategic Advisory practice and strengthens its capabilities across AI, business strategy, economics, and digital technology.
Stave joins Keystone from Harvard Business School, where she served as the inaugural Director of the AI Institute. There, she led efforts examining the impact of generative AI on business models and supported global enterprises as they adapted operations to evolving technological landscapes. Prior to Harvard, she was a Senior Vice President at Wells Fargo, where she oversaw AI and machine learning strategy and developed enterprise-wide data science capabilities. Her experience spans operational transformation, risk management, customer experience, and the scaling of advanced analytics programs.
Keystone’s AI Navigator offering is designed to help organizations bridge the gap between AI experimentation and enterprise-wide implementation. The platform combines the firm’s expertise in technology, applied economics, and business strategy to help executive teams build governance frameworks, organizational capabilities, and technical infrastructure needed to maximize AI-driven value creation.
Beyond her executive leadership experience, Stave is recognized for her work on the future of work and artificial intelligence. Her insights have appeared in major publications including Harvard Business Review, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and The Economist. She also holds multiple U.S. patents related to machine learning applications in risk management and consumer communication analytics, serves on The AI Lab Advisory Board, and previously participated on the steering committee for the United Nations’ AI for Good program. Stave earned a Ph.D. in Political Science with a focus on statistics from American University.
KEY QUOTES:
“Jen has spent her career at the nexus of academic rigor and practical execution, and she is one of the most respected voices in AI transformation. She has done the hard work of understanding not just what AI can do, but what it takes for an organization to fully harness it, making her uniquely qualified to lead AI Navigator. Her appointment signifies Keystone’s ongoing commitment to leading enterprises through the AI revolution.”
Jeff Marowits, CEO, Keystone
“Keystone has created something that is genuinely novel: a firm that understands not just technology, but also the organizational and strategic conditions that determine the delivery of value through AI. AI Navigator reflects that deep understanding. Most organizations aren’t struggling to identify opportunities presented by the proliferation of AI, they’re struggling to execute them at scale. This is the problem that AI Navigator is built to solve, and it is the work I have spent my career preparing for.”
