King & Spalding has added Ted Dillman as a partner in its Finance & Restructuring practice group in New York, continuing the law firm’s expansion of its restructuring platform.
Dillman advises debtors, creditors, private equity sponsors, investment funds and strategic buyers on complex restructuring situations.
His experience encompasses Chapter 11 proceedings, distressed M&A, out-of-court workouts, special situations investments, cross-border restructurings, creditor-side engagements and sponsor-led restructurings.
His industry experience includes retail, consumer products, technology, communications and healthcare.
Dillman joins King & Spalding from Latham & Watkins, where he served as Global Vice Chair of the Retail & Consumer Products industry group and was a member of the firm’s Ethics Committee.
He is also a Fellow of the American College of Bankruptcy and has been ranked by Chambers USA for bankruptcy and restructuring work in California.
Dillman’s arrival is part of a broader buildout at King & Spalding. The Finance & Restructuring practice has added 13 partners during 2026 and now includes more than 150 lawyers across major financial centers worldwide.
The practice advises financial institutions, private credit providers, asset managers, private equity sponsors, corporations and investors across financing, restructuring and investment transactions.
