King & Spalding has hired Daniel Nam as a partner in its corporate practice in New York, reinforcing the firm’s capital markets capabilities and Latin America-focused offering.
Nam joins from White & Case LLP, where he was also a partner. His practice centers on advising issuers, financial sponsors and investment banks on a broad range of financing transactions, including high-yield and investment-grade debt, equity and equity-linked offerings.
The move adds to King & Spalding’s ability to handle complex capital markets work, particularly for clients with operations in Latin America. Nam also brings experience in bridge financings, tender offers, exchange offers and general corporate and securities matters.
The firm said the hire complements its existing strengths across private equity, mergers and acquisitions, restructuring and disputes, while deepening its cross-border capabilities in the Americas.
Nam is based in New York and has advised both domestic issuers and companies with significant Latin American operations throughout his career.
