Kirkland & Ellis has announced that Nils B. (Burt) Snell, a prominent product liability and mass tort litigator, has joined the firm as a partner.
Snell represents pharmaceutical and medical device companies in complex product liability cases involving international laws. He defends corporations in federal and state litigation, focusing on regulatory and scientific issues while working with high-level corporate personnel.
As an industry leader, Snell coordinates cases in international jurisdictions and advises clients on responses to foreign governments and the media. He also has significant experience in regulatory processes and clinical trials.
Before joining Kirkland, Snell practiced at Butler Snow and Dechert.
