Kirkland & Ellis Adds Partner Darren Littlejohn To Expand Securitizations Practice

Kirkland & Ellis announced that Darren Littlejohn has joined the firm as a partner in its Debt Finance Group, strengthening its Complex Securitizations Practice.

Littlejohn brings extensive experience advising a wide range of clients including asset managers, lenders, private equity sponsors, corporations, pension funds and market infrastructure providers. His work spans synthetic financing structures, derivatives and other complex financial products, combining regulatory expertise with transactional execution. His background includes a decade at Goldman Sachs, where he developed deep experience at the intersection of derivatives and structured finance.

The addition reflects Kirkland’s continued investment in its structured credit capabilities as demand grows for sophisticated financing solutions. Littlejohn has been recognized as Band 2 in Chambers Global for Derivatives from 2023 through 2025 and was named a Recommended Lawyer by The Legal 500 U.S. in 2025 for Structured Finance, Derivatives and Structured Products.
