Kirkland & Ellis announced that Dr. Sebastian Heim will join the firm as a corporate partner based in its Munich and London offices, strengthening its private equity capabilities in Germany and across Europe.
Heim focuses on private equity transactions and regularly advises clients on corporate law matters, including mergers and acquisitions and growth equity deals. His work spans multiple industries, including software, industrials, infrastructure and high-growth technology companies.
Before joining Kirkland & Ellis, Heim was a partner at Milbank. He is widely recognized in the legal industry for his private equity expertise and has been ranked as a leading attorney by Chambers Germany for Private Equity: High End. Heim has also been recognized by Legal 500 Germany for Private Equity: Transactions and listed as a frequently recommended lawyer for Private Equity and M&A by JUVE.
The addition of Heim is expected to deepen the firm’s private equity bench in Germany as Kirkland continues expanding its transactional practice across Europe.
